I’m a Creative Director/Copywriter with over 15 years' experience creating compelling campaigns and content as well as repositioning and defining brand voice and vision.
Digitally fluent, grammar-geeking, conceptual and strategic, clients have often requested that I be brought in early on pivotal projects to work with brand strategists on brief development.
When the brief arrives I then brainstorm the story; I use language of course but have come up with some big visual ideas, too. I've also developed social media strategy, including the launch of Aveeno on Instagram, and a great deal of brand architecture.
Whether you want a thumb-stopping headline or a bad pun (are there any other kind?), I'm your wordsmith. I've crafted everything from cosmetic color stories, package copy and long-form articles to 360º/omnichannel campaigns including the concept/idea development and hands-on shooting & execution/editing of social media/digital video/motion/TV, print and radio. In my role as co-Creative Director on Aveeno Global Beauty I also edited and approved the work of the digital creative team.
I can take charge or take direction and style the dickens out of a set or wardrobe if necessary; just as comfortable choosing which sofa as which dress.
To all my endeavors I bring crisp thinking, cultural awareness, abundant creativity, dependability and humor when called for.
Outside of work I’m a fitness junkie and connoisseur of TBC and Zumba classes. I appreciate all things beautiful from vintage furniture, art and interior design to fragrance and shiny-shoe and jewelry hoarding. I’ve also gotten into photography and Photoshop recently and look forward to putting down my iPhone for a ‘real’ camera.
